Anurag Tripathi: A Journey from F&B to Pantry Champion

  • Published on Apr. 30, 2026

In Sanskrit, Anurag means love, affection, and passion. These are the values he brings to his work every day at Sodexo.

Anurag began his career with a reputed hotel chain as part of the Food and Beverage team, serving guests with dedication. While he enjoyed the work, he was looking for a workplace where people are treated with fairness and respect. That search eventually brought him to Sodexo.

Anurag is deaf and mute, but that has never stopped him from doing what he loves. At Sodexo, he joined as a Pantry Associate, where he ensures cleanliness in the pantry area and prepares hot beverages such as tea and coffee for employees and guests. Through these everyday tasks, he helps create a welcoming environment for everyone.

My supervisors and team are very supportive. They make sure instructions are clear, often using written notes or signs, and always treat me with respect.

What Anurag values most about his role is the sense of pride it brings. “I enjoy my job because it gives me a sense of responsibility. I value cleanliness and love serving people. When someone smiles or thanks me with a gesture, it reminds me that my work matters.”

Looking ahead, Anurag hopes to grow into a senior role where he can help train and guide other differently abled individuals who want to build a career in hospitality.

Known for his reliability and focused approach, Anurag takes pride in every detail of his work. His journey reflects what is possible when determination meets an inclusive workplace.

At Sodexo, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to grow and succeed. Anurag’s story is a reminder that right support, passion, and dedication open doors to meaningful progress.
